It is commonly thought that a dog’s age is roughly calculated as seven dog years for every human year. However those with dogs will know, that it really does depend on the size of your dog when calculating how old they would be in dog years.
This cool graphic shows how to calculate your dog’s age, dependant on it’s size.
Based on this, it would make Archie 45 in human years, Lola 39 and Milo 31!
It is nice to see that I’m not the only thirty-something year old in the house. :)
I love infographics. They can be quirky, fun, colourful and interesting… and there are no rules or constraints to their presentation. You can create them about pretty much anything and they’re a fantastic way of sharing curious information across the interweb.
With our focus on dogs, it made sense to start with canine related material for the first swathe of infographics we produced for Pet365. This one is my favourite.
So, here it is, my blog! It’s been something I’ve been thinking and talking about doing for a long time and I’ve actually managed to get off my backside to get it sorted.
With 3 mad Schnauzers in my life, there is never a dull moment! They can be frustrating, stubborn, challenging, funny, sweet, loving and above all really good fun; I couldn’t be without them. I wanted to write a blog to share some of our stories, photos and hopefully helpful posts to all dog (or animal) lovers out there as I trip my way through my life with my furry friends.
I hope that you’ll enjoy the journey with me.
